2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) ~ Movie Talk

So, guess what? I was totally bored again and thought, 'Hey, let's finally check out that movie that's been sitting on my watchlist forever'  I mean, it's been staring at me for ages, and I finally got into the mood to give it a shot. The movie is "2001: A Space Odyssey" and I might as well write my opinion about the movie and turn it into my first movie review. Title :  2001: A Space Odyssey Director :  Stanley Kubrick Released year :  1968 Running Time :  2h 29m IMDB Score :  8.3⭐ You wouldn't believe it was made over 50 years ago. Kubrick was truly ahead of his time. The storytelling and visual effects make it feel timeless, as if it wasn't a movie from 1968. The background music is glorious, and the whole exploration of AI and extraterrestrial life is incredibly interesting. This visually stunning movie was directed by Stanley Kubrick and is a cinematic adaptation of a novel series with the same title by Arthur C. Clarke. While the majority of ...

Pluto (2023) ~ Anime Talk

Last week, I was feeling pretty bored, and I thought to myself, "Why not kick back and watch something on Netflix?" So, I did just that, and I stumbled upon "Pluto" Title : Pluto Studio : Studio M2 Aired : Oct 26, 2023 Total Episode : 8 (@1 hour) MAL Score : 8.79⭐ As someone who loves anime, sometimes I also read Manga. New Corner ~ 3 Episodes Rule

Hello again.  I've got a new section on this blog, and I'm calling it the "3 Episode Rule." No frills, no fluff – just a straight-up assessment of the anime I've been watching. If you're looking for friendly recommendations, you're in the wrong place. The "3 Episode Rule" is about making quick decisions. You see, the first three episodes of an anime can pretty much set the tone for the entire show. You don't have time to waste on nonsense, so this is where you figure out if it's worth your precious time or not. It's an unspoken rule in the anime world. In this corner, I'll be watching a mix of highly recommended anime and some of the trashiest Isekai out there. Yeah, I know, some of them are downright dumpster fires, but you never know when you might stumble upon a hidden gem, even in the trash pile. This is what I will do :  1. First Impressions: After the first three episodes, I'll lay it all out. Did it grab my attention? D...

Non-breath oblige ~ Behind The Lyrics

Here we go again, diving deep into another gem from my collection of 'depressing songs'. Once more, the song comes from the talented Pinocchio-P , the Vocaloid producer who has given us a repertoire of truly beautiful but emotionally heavy tunes. A few months back, I shared my thoughts on his other song Tensei Ringo ~ Reincarnation Apple and today, I'm here to talk about 'Non-breath oblige; feat Hatsune Miku' . As we delve into the lyrics, it's clear that this song delves into the theme of existing within the complexities of our society . The protagonist's journey is riddled with the haunting feeling that their every action is somehow in the wrong. They express the challenges of navigating a world that can often feel selfish, receiving conflicting messages about whether they should continue to live or choose to embrace death. The lyrics itself ask a questions:  "Is it wrong to boast of my happiness? Is it wrong to grieve over my unhappiness?"  The...

Shingeki no Kyojin (2013) ~ Anime Talk

It's been a long journey. As a non-Manga reader, I try to restrict myself from reading the Manga and just enjoy the Anime... but oh boy, it's been too long. The journey begins in 2013 when a real gem of an anime series was brought to life by the talented folks over at  Wit Studio . So, let's take a step back and dive into the very first season of this epic saga, the 2013 adaptation that started it all.  Title : Shingeki no Kyojin ~ Attack on Titan Studio : Wit Studio Premiered :  Spring 2013 Total Episode : 25 (Season 1) MAL Score : 8.54⭐ Plot and World-Building Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin Season 1 introduces us to a world where humanity's remnants have been forced to live within enormous walls to protect themselves from gigantic humanoid creatures known as Titans. I'm into Vocaloid (part 2)

I found some Vocaloid's Cover that I love Hello, continuing our latest topic about Vocaloid and Vocaloid Producer, I also want to talk about Utaite. But before that, let me explained what's utaite "Utaite: (歌い手) is a Japanese term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube under the utattemita category. The term "utaite" is unique to Nico Nico Douga singers, making it different from Kashu (歌手), which means "singer" in general." ( source ) Yes, from the explanation I get from Wiki Fandom, IT IS the term uniquely used on Nico Nico Douga . But because I can't really access NicoNico in my country, I won't talk about utaite that only upload their music on NicoNico. Instead, I will talk about utaite that share their music on YouTube (I'm sorry) . The first utaite I know is Soraru . I don't really remember how I found his song (again, thanks to YouTube algorithm), but I found his cover of き...
