I'm into Vocaloid (part 2)

I found some Vocaloid's Cover that I love

Hello, continuing our latest topic about Vocaloid and Vocaloid Producer, I also want to talk about Utaite. But before that, let me explained what's utaite

"Utaite: (歌い手) is a Japanese term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube under the utattemita category. The term "utaite" is unique to Nico Nico Douga singers, making it different from Kashu (歌手), which means "singer" in general." (source)

Yes, from the explanation I get from Wiki Fandom, IT IS the term uniquely used on Nico Nico Douga. But because I can't really access NicoNico in my country, I won't talk about utaite that only upload their music on NicoNico. Instead, I will talk about utaite that share their music on YouTube (I'm sorry).

The first utaite I know is Soraru. I don't really remember how I found his song (again, thanks to YouTube algorithm), but I found his cover of きみも悪い人でよかった, the English official title of which is I'm glad you're evil too. Here's the video on Soraru's YouTube and the original Vocaloid song by PinocchioP:

Soraru's Cover and Original song by PinocchioP feat. Hatsune Miku

Even though I don't really understand all the lyrics, but the way he sings the song, he sounds really sad but (maybe) relieved at the same time(?) I don't know how to put it. Then... I look for the lyrics on Wiki Fandom, and my guess was right. Here are some of the lyrics that I love :

"Even though, opening up my heart should have been such a scary thing. In front of you, I was able to smile innocently"

and also this...

"Getting offended together, at the boorish news. Laughing at a bad movie, watching variety (shows) and crying, going round in high spirits, was a slightly lonely pair. I’m glad the two of us, I and you, are just as evil as each other"

You can read the complete lyrics both in Japanese and English here. Yes, I know that listening to sad songs will make you sadder, but I like it :")

Okay, let's go back to utaite. From SoraruI found mafumafu, both of them made a unit group called After the Raininitially known as Sky-coloured Muffler or Sorairo Mafurā. And again, thanks to YouTube algorithm, I found Meychan, Nqrse, Araki (they're made unit group name aranarumey), Eve, Sou, Megatera Zeroetc.

From there, I found a lot of new Vocaloid Producers. Sometimes, when a Vocaloid Producer uploads their instrument's song, another utaite (or sometimes Vtuber) makes a cover from that song. And when a certain song became popular, it is not a surprise that suddenly almost all utaite/Vtubers sing that song.

Here are some Vocaloid covers that I recommend :

Sou cover ofShikiura.身体は正直だって言ってんの

Meychan cover ofTsumikiphony feat. KAFU

Sou cover ofHiiragi MagnetiteMarshall Maximizer

Vtuber Kanae and Kuzuha / ChroNoir cover ofCaphatCandyDance

Ado cover ofHiiragi KiraiBocca della Verità

Fantastic Youth and Onyu cover ofUtsu-PI thought I was an angel

Megatera Zero cover ofballoonCharles

Aranarumey cover ofDECO*27The Vampire

Vtuber Lauren Iroas cover ofPinocchioPGod-ish

Vtuber Millie and Enna cover ofKanariaIdentity

(you can find the original song in their video description)

Now, back to utaite. Sometimes, utaite not only sing their original song or Vocaloid song, but also Anime song. Here are some examples :

NanoNo pain, No gain - BTOOM Anime

SouMr. Fixer - ID: Invaded Anime

ryo (supercell) feat. Mafumafu, gakuタクト - Takt Op. Destiny Anime

AdoI'm invicible - One Piece Movie : RED Anime

EveKaikai Kitan - Jujutsu Kaisen Anime and Fight Song - Chainsaw Man Anime

Singing an anime song not only good for the utaite who sings it; but also good for the utaite community. They will be more approachable by mainstream media.

Vocaloid Producer can collaborate with other artists. There can be a different person who does lyrics, music, and illustration. In rare case, a single person writes the lyrics and music and also draws their own illustrations for MV. One of the example that I know is PinnochioP. You can see that the visual illustration on his MV has a certain characteristic.

Sometimes, Vocaloid Producers also cover their own song, or you can say they're doing self-cover. Here are some self-covers that I found interesting :

Self-cover ofGIGACH4NGE

Self-cover ofChinozoGoodbye Sengen

Self-cover ofballonCharles

Self-cover ofAyaseGhost City Tokyo

I mean really, they can do anything. Not only making song but they're also a good singer?

Chainsaw Man (2022) ~ Anime Talk

I finished watching the anime, but I don't really have the time to actually write down how I feel about it. I don't know where I should start, honestly, but here we go... Manga Cover Design  Before talking about the anime, I would like to take a moment to appreciate the manga cover. Story & Art :  Fujimoto, Tatsuki Serialization : Shounen Jump+  As someone who self-learned 'some' graphic design back in my college days, I've got an eye for these things. And let me tell you, the cover of Chainsaw Man...It's a thing of pure beauty. I've always love neon colors for as long as I can remember, and when I first stumbled upon this series (we're talking way before the series got adapt into anime), I was absolutely mesmerized by the manga cover. It's one of those covers that make you want to reach out and grab the book, even if you have no idea what's inside. A visual treat for my eyes. So, hats off to the creative minds behind that eye-catching cover!...

Tensei Ringo / Reincarnation Apple ~ Behind The Lyrics

Let's talk about this song that I've grown quite fond of. Overall, I have to say I really like it. It's a well-rounded package – from the captivating illustration to the theme, the heartfelt lyrics, and the melody that weaves it all together.  Now, as I delve into the meaning of the song, it seems to revolve around a character who harbors a deep dissatisfaction with their ordinary life. The recurring thought that plagues them is: 'What would it be like to be reborn as someone else?' It's a sentiment that suggests a longing for a life that's more exciting, more meaningful. But here's the twist. As the song progresses, this character undergoes a realization. They come to understand that in every 'new life' they imagine, there will always be troubles, challenges, and hardships. Even individuals who seem great, possessing exceptional talents and power, have their own set of problems. It's a reminder that there's no such thing as a 'perfec...
